My father is retiring soon and it made me think about how big that really is. My dad does not EVER have to work, EVER! What would you do with all that time? I hope that when mom retires next year they both are able to survive together in the house all day. I can't even imagine how happy my dad will be, he can do genealogy all the time!
I know my dad deserves to be happy, he has worked very hard for us kids and I now understand that better than ever. Being a parent is the craziest thing ever, you really do not know what your doing. You also make the house run smooth and every other aspect of ALL your lives. I never really understood how hard you work everyday to make it all work. You have to be structured and diligent, and I really did learn that from my dad.

On another note baby Rustin is so cute, I will have to put a new video of him on soon. He is talking so much now, I just can't get enough.

Dad has worked really hard... nobody will ever be able to say otherwise! It was nice to hear such nice things about him. It was fun to have you there, too. (As well as your cute boys!)
Heidi - Thank you for your kind words. Parenting, unfortunately, you don't get to retire from. I am relieved to not have to go back to work. I am just lucky to still be young and healthy. Ha, Ha. Ha,....
Say hi for me to baby Damien (I mean Rustin.) We love all of you.
Dad
