Going to the hospital on Thursday for 3 1/2 hours was so annoying (thanks Dad for keeping me company), going to the specialist on Friday for 3 hours was nerve-racking (thanks Bro for helping me with Rustin), and then being in the car for 4 hours on Saturday (each way) to go see Dustins' grandpa in the hospital in Redwood city was the final straw. I am so done, on Sunday I seriously slept every second that I could.
I'm happy to report we got good news about Rustins' kidney. His function has improved and now the look of his kidney is looking more normal as well. So the "watch and wait" game continues, but I can't argue the tests, he is improving. The Dr said he "may" be having the episodes because he is producing more urine and is not peeing like he should. Wish me luck when it comes to potty training, I think I'm going to have some issues there too!
For the few hours we were out of town we went to Half Moon Bay to let Dustin sleep (he had been up for 28 hours) but first we spent some time at the beach with cousins. Rustin was sooooooo afraid of the ocean at first and by the time we wanted to leave he was trying to run right into it!

Sorry you had a CRAZY week and weekend. At least we both got to be at the beach for part of it! I know what you mean about wanting to just sleep!

Grandpa is having his own kidney complications from diabetes, he was glad to see all of us.
How cute is that! He's so funny! I remember most of my kids (maybe all of them) are always afraid of the ocean about that age, but they do usually get over it. It's so fun! Glad to see you got to spend some fun time on the coast.
